Radar 2018 Best Student Paper Awards
Sponsored by the IEEE South Australian Control and Aerospace & Electronic Systems Chapter
The Best Student Paper Award recognises authors of the best student papers accepted for publication in the proceedings of the 2018 International Radar Conference. A paper is considered a student paper if the first-named author only is a student at the time of the paper submission. Student authors enter the competition using the conference’s paper submission system when they upload their revised papers.
Papers will be shortlisted based on reviewer scores. Finalists will then have the opportunity to present their work at a special oral session during the conference. The judging committee will make a decision on the award of prizes based on the reviewers’ comments and scores, their own reading of the papers and the students’ presentations at the special session, including student responses to questions from the audience.
First prize will be $300. Second and third prizes will be book prizes. All finalists who participate fully in the competition will receive certificates commemorating their achievement. The prizes and certificates will be presented at the conference banquet.
